Creatures Alive
Level: Suitable for Foundation to Level 6
Duration: 60 minutes
Delivery: via Zoom video conferencing
Numbers: each workshop is capped at a maximum of 30 learners
Adult supervision recommended, requires use of warm water
Activities
Collect and observe some things from your environment and classify them as living or non-living
Observe the respiration of yeast – the production of carbon dioxide when it is placed in warm water with sugar
See a range of images under a digital microscope in real-time, with the aim of identifying the object that is producing the image
Learn how to make a worm farm
