Lindus was fantastic with the students, particularly encouraging participation from the more hesitant children. The content was spot-on for our inquiry needs. Lindus is obviously very knowledgeable, her explanations were accurately levelled to support our students’ understanding of Matter. I just wanted to pass on our thanks for Lisa and how she conducted Walter’s 6th birthday on the Saturday just past. Everyone had such a great time and we were impressed by the experiments that were conducted and how she engaged the kids. Which is saying something because both my husband and I have PhDs in Organic Chemistry and work in industry. All the other adults also said it was a wonderful experience. We will certainly be recommending you to other parents.

The Mad About Science Show was perfect in celebrating all the science learning we had done in this curriculum area over the last 2 terms. It was our first time in holding a STEM/Science Family Engagement Night for our school community and it was a well attended and enjoyed by both students, parents and staff. Thank you to Lisa the presenter as she was prepared, engaging and managed crowd control effectively. Activities also involved parent & student participation which was a crowd pleaser. The workshop was very interactive and engaging. In our special education setting, it can be difficult to capture our students’ attention and keep it but they were highly engaged with this workshop as they were all actively involved the whole way through. Our presenter, Belinda was very enthusiastic and had a lovely way with the students. I would highly recommend this workshop to any school if they wish to promote and get children excited about science in their school.
